The welcome mat is rolled out at the Indiana University South Bend Campus April 11th through the 17th as Alumni Week has performances, exhibitions and events for all to enjoy. The week features a Speech Night Competition, the beginning run of The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!), a toungue-in-cheek production that weaves five short distinctive musicals into one story satirizing the the genre of musical theatre. The shows are in The Upstage, Northside Hall, Thursday through Saturday at 8pm.
The week also includes The BFA Student Exhibition, Reception & Gallery Talk, that features the capstone exhibition of their graduating fine arts and new media students, and their finest artwork. The Exhibition is open from noon to 5pm April 14th through the 30th in the Art Gallery of the Education & Arts Building, with the Reception and Gallery Talk Thursday, April 14th from 4:30 to 7:30pm.
The weekend concludes with Ensemble Concept/21, presenting "The Music of Leonardo Balada" the concert will feature small chamber performances including guest guitarist Adam Levin. That performance takes place in the Louise E. Addicott and Yatish J Joshi Performance Hall, Northside Hall at 4pm. Click HERE for event information and HERE for ticket information.
