WVPE invites you to the Contemporary Nutcracker, Saturday evening November 26th and Sunday afternoon the 27th. The Aurinko Ballet is joined by the Conservatory of Dance to present this classic Christmas tale from a unique perspective. The story follows the homeless and destitute Klara in her magical pursuit of a family. Choreographed by Gregory Hancock, the story helps to show the true meaning of Christmas that extends beyond the shopping, food, gifts, hustle and bustle; demonstrating that ultimately, only kindness matters.
New this year, Nutcracker Tea at the Lerner, 1:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27 is where your little princes or princesses will be treated to a fairytale experience.
