State Employees To Receive Pay Raises In 2018

Dec 29, 2017

Most of Indiana’s state employees will receive a raise in 2018.

Gov. Eric Holcomb announced the pay-for-performance raises Friday. Employees who meet expectations – the bulk of the workforce – will get a 2 percent raise. Those who exceed expectations will see a 3 percent pay boost, while those rated outstanding earn a four percent increase.

That’s in line with pay raises issued last year, but below the levels given out in 2016 and 2015.

State employees have received salary increases each year since 2014, when then-Gov. Mike Pence issued one-time bonuses.
